Evaluation should be completed throughout the design process.  

• Initially, the SME should be able to look over the information to ensure accuracy

• Beta tests should occur to ensure proper navigation of materials

• Student success should be analyzed to ensure proper alignment and student learning

• Material should be periodically examined to maintain current and timely content

Students not achieving acceptable levels on assessments

• Review materials to ensure alignment of coarse goals, objectives, materials and assessments

• Analyze assessments themselves

  • Are questions confusing?

  • Do questions reflect content?

• Make necessary alterations to module to alleviate issues

Keep transcript and/or outline that corresponds with module to ensure changes are made easily and seamlessly

Research content or converse with SME to ensure timeliness of materials

Request SMEs assistance for continual accuracy of materials

• Review videos

• Review transcripts

• Review assessments
